Exciting, dynamic, busy and challenging; long hours (sometimes!), lots of fun, great people and a fun office environment are just some of the ways and words I would use to describe working at Heinz UK and Ireland Head Office in London.

I have recently joined the Graduate Scheme, working in the Sales function and my first role has been within the Sainsbury’s and Waitrose Customer Team. At present, I hold the position as Customer Analyst working across all product categories.  On a day-to-day basis I manage the Customer Marketing budget and ensure as a team we are planning and executing relevant and effective marketing in store. Activity includes in store and outdoor sampling, magazine advertorials and online promotions.  

The other area of my job is to provide the National Account Managers with accurate information on how the categories and products are performing in Sainsbury’s and Waitrose.  From the outset, I have been given responsibility to deliver key tasks for the team, which has been challenging but offered me invaluable experience and insight into the business.

To date I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Heinz, and I am looking forward to the next phase of the scheme.
