Vision and values
Every great business is driven by an inner belief about the right way to do things. Heinz is no exception and the inner beliefs of Henry J. Heinz are the foundation of our values today.
Our vision:
"At Heinz, we improve the well being of families everywhere by providing them with good food every day"
Making good food every day is what we do, it does not mean being the biggest but it does mean striving to be the best in terms of nutrition, customer service, employee talent and consistent and predictable growth. We are well on our way to realising this vision but there is more we must do to fully achieve it. Our vision is supported by our values, which define to the world and ourselves who we are and what we stand for.
Achievement
We share a strong desire to achieve since we recognise that performance matters and results count. We are committed to continuous improvement, and with clear objectives, excelling at what we do in the right way as individuals and as part of the team
Accountability
We take accountability personally and as part of the team for our performance and achievements. We share ownership of the business and our contribution to its success. Our commitment to clear accountability drives recognition and appropriate rewards. We are open and transparent when things go wrong and committed to finding the right solutions to put things right.
Integrity
We act with integrity while delivering on our commitments. We are committed to taking the right decisions for the business whilst recognising our responsibilities to individuals. We value the contribution every individual has to make. We will support and nurture our people and always treat each other with respect.
Collaboration
We act collaboratively as one team behind one Vision and Mission for the success of the business. We will interact dynamically across the business and not just within our own function, where our inputs provide opportunities to enhance shared success.
Urgency
We act with a sense of urgency and positive impatience. Whilst balancing speed of action without compromising quality, we will not rest on what has been achieved today without a desire to achieve much more tomorrow.
