Beef Stroganoff

A hearty meal that combines fresh ingredients with Heinz Special Cream of Mushroom Soup
450 g steak (fillet or sirloin free from fat and cut into strips)
100g onions
150 g mushrooms
2 tsp grain mustard (optional)
1 tsp Paprika
100 ml White wine
25 ml Brandy (optional)
Lemon juice from ½ lemon
1 can of Heinz Cream of Mushroom Soup
100 ml whipping cream
2tbspn cooking oil

Heat oil in a heavy pan and fry steak in hot oil until sealed and browned slightly Add chopped onions and cook until soft Add sliced mushrooms and cook until soft Pour in brandy and flame to remove alcohol Pour on white wine and add the mustard (optional) and reduce by ½ Add Heinz Cream of of Mushroom Soup and heat up Next stir in the cream and heat thoroughly without boiling
Serving suggestion Serve with boiled rice and a sprinkle of fresh chopped parsley
